In the new era,the teaching program to train excellent doctors for the grass root medical health service is the effective approach to promote the comprehensive reform for the clinic medical educa-tion in local medical colleges and to improve the quality in training doctors.In the course of implemen-ting the program,we should set up the view of great health as a whole,construct the theory and the practical teaching system that is suitable to the educational program to train excellent doctors,adopt va-rious methods to evaluate medical students,carry out the education of medical morality in the whole ed-ucation,meet the needs of life long education in cultivating doctors,create the training mode in culti-vating doctors,initially conform to the medical health reform direction of the state,and cultivate ele-mentary health care doctors who work at the grass root units.
