摘要
作为一种与中华古老文明迥别的体系，基督教文明的每一次入华进程总是充满了跌宕起伏的情节。对于这段历史，中国人的感睛和态度总是摇摆和模糊的，在不同的时代和不同的人群中，往往会出现两极化的评价。如今，全球化和提倡文化多样性的时代趋势使中国有了较百年前更开放的文化气度和文化视野，当我们站在21世纪重新回望早期基督教与西学入华所留下的历史遗产时，会不得不赞叹两个文明共同的伟大精神，同时惊讶于二者融合所创造出人类智慧的结晶。
Christian Civilization, as a totally different cultural system from ancient Chinese civilization, has always encountered ups and downs in its every attempt of dissemination in China. While reviewing the historical heritages left over by the Early Christianity and Western culture in the 21 st century, we could not help but to gasp in admiration how great and profound both cultures are, and meanwhile, wonder at the miraculous crystallization of human wisdom borne by the integration of both cultures.
