The Happiness Paradox of Ideological and Political Education

长期以来,我国的思想政治教育作为执政党思想政治工作的一部分,致力于实现执政党的价值期待,解释和论证执政党路线、方针、政策,服务于党的中心任务和社会主义现代化各项事业。然而,当前的思想政治教育陷入了幸福"悖论",具体表现为价值导向性与真理性、先进性与广泛性、工具性与目的性三重矛盾。这启示了思想政治教育工作者应当从内容合理性和形式合理性两方面打造思想政治教育的吸引力,助力思想政治教育跳出幸福"悖论"的怪圈。

As a part of the party＇ s ideological and political work, our ideological and political education has devoted to realizing the party＇ s value expectation, explaining party＇ s policies and serving party＇ s central task and socialism modernization construction. How- ever, our ideological and political education nowadays falls into the trap named ＂happiness paradox＂ and presents triple contradictions, namely conflicts between value guidance quality and objective truth quality, contradictory between advanced feature and universal re- quest, inconsistence between instrumentality and purposiveness. This reality suggests educators should create the inner charm of ideo- logical and political education in the perspective of content rationality and form rationality, which could help our education jump out of ＂happiness paradox＂ trap.
