On Contemporary Chinese Library Studies:Reflection and Prospection

当下中国图书馆学呈盛世繁华而内蕴式微之象,如何推动其发展是亟需解决的问题。从图书馆学主客观两个方面审视其流变,窥视"图书馆学之变"的原因。图书馆学有其自身发展规律,此在时代需求变迁中得以呈现。在科学与人文两大时代因素交互影响进程中,中国图书馆学受西方先验的图书馆学影响至深。因此,中国当下图书馆学发展必须在汲聚诸多学科研究方法的基础上加以融会贯通,方能真正推动其本体的深维度嬗变。由此,进一步从时代积淀与方法的双重视域中,对构建图书馆学研究之"中层"模式作全新尝试,此模式置于其内核元素根基之上,在鉴借、交互、衍生中得以展现,期冀助推当下图书馆学研究实现质的飞跃。

Contemporary Chinese library studies have been declining inside but flourishing on the surface, thus how to promote its development dialectically is an urgent problem yet to be solved. The causes of its decline can be detected when we examine its evolvement from both subjective and objective perspectives. Yet study of library has its own law of development, which is demonstrated in the changes of needs from different times. In the process of interacting of two major time factors-science and humanities, library studies in China is deeply influenced by Western transcendental library science. Therefore, Chinese contemporary library studies must leant and integrate research methods of various disciplines so as to promote deep dimensional evolution of the study in itself. Thus, from the dual perspectives of times accumulation and methodology, the author further conducts a new attempt on constructing the “middle level” model of library studies that is based on the inner core elements and demonstrated in borrowing, interacting and derivation, in expectation to achieve a qualitative leap in boosting library studies.
