Research on the Legal Environment of the Visually Impaired Service in American Libraries

文章介绍美国图书馆视障群体服务的法律设计所经历的阶段及其全面而系统的法律环境。为完善我国视障群体服务的法律环境,建议加强图书馆立法,建立健全为视障群体服务的图书馆法律体系;加强交流合作,与国际惯例接轨;加强协作协调,完善无障碍建设法律体系。

This paper introduces the phases and the comprehensive environment of the legislation of library visually impaired service in USA. In order to improve the legal environment of Chinese counterpart service, the author suggests strengthening library legislation for the visually impaired service; enhancing the exchanges and cooperation with international organizations; and intensifying the collaboration and coordination among domestic public sectors to optimize the legal construction on accessibility.
