How to cultivate students with higher employability is the focus of higher vocational education. Based on the analysis of the connotation of students＇ employability, the core competence of it is confirmed. Combined with the current situation of the lack of employability for higher vocational college students, the paper puts forward the effective constructing approaches, such as chang- ing employment concept, enriching employment guidance system, establishing employment quality evaluation, perfecting the talents training scheme and enhancing occupational quality cultivation, etc.
