Homely Works to Aid Goverment is co-translated by a western minister and a Chinese intellect in the late Qing Dynasty. The western economic and political topics in the book are translated in Chinese traditional ＂ Essayists＂ style,showing the characteristics of only one argument,comparison and contrast and cohesion and coherence. In view of the common co-translation of both westerners and Chinese in the late Qing Dynasty,the study of how Chinese translators using Chinese writing styles in translation is a necessary.
