New Thoughts on Culture of Chinese Characters——Introduction of Culture of Chinese Characters Written by He Jiuying

汉字文化学作为一门新兴学科吸引了越来越多的学者对汉字与文化研究的关注和思考。何九盈先生的《汉字文化学》一书既是对汉字文化学学科框架的初步建设,也是对汉字观、汉语观、文化观的反思,意义重大。

Chinese characters culture which is a new discipline has attracted more and more attention and thinking of re-search about Chinese characters and culture. Mr. He Jiuying＆#39;s Culture of Chinese Characters which is an academic monograph, published in January 2000, is divided into three chapters, including thirteen sections. Besides, the book has three other parts which are preface, conclusion and postscript. Through the research, it is not difficult to find the significance of this book. It de-scribes the preliminary framework of the new discipline and reviews a lot of conceptual problems in terms of Chinese characters, Chinese language and culture.
