图式理论下的英语阅读教学

On the Teaching of English Reading from the Prospective of Schema Theory

图式理论是语义记忆网络中的一种信息贮存结构,它在阅读理解中发挥着预测、选择、推论等重要作用。就英语阅读而言,图式理论可分为三种类型:语言图式、内容图式和形式图式。语言图式是指学生自身所掌握的语言知识,即语音、词汇、句型等基本知识,它也是整个图式理论在英语阅读教学中的基础。本文以图式理论为基础,探讨英语阅读教学中图式理论的运用和贯穿,以提升学生英语阅读效率。

Schema is a structure for information storage in the semantic memory network and it plays a very important role in English reading comprehension in terms of making predictions, choices and inferences. Based on the theory, this paper will discuss the application of schema theory in extensive reading teaching and the strategies of improving students＆#39; reading efficiency in English reading teaching.
