忻州市城区餐饮行业店名语言特点分析

An Analysis of Linguistic Shop-naming Features of the Restaurants in Xinzhou City

随着时代的进步和社会生活的变化,店名的意义已不仅仅是作为商店标志的语言符号,而更多地是为了体现商家求胜求富的心理。商家通过好的、有特色的店名不仅可以吸引消费者的眼球,而且可以获得更大的经济效益。文章以山西省忻州市城区的163家(中高档)餐饮行业的店名作为研究对象,从语言学的角度对忻州市餐馆店名的命名特点进行分析研究,同时对其背后所蕴藏的文化内涵进行了探索。

With the progress of the times and the changes in social life, the meaning of a shop name is not only served as a language symbol of a shop ,but also reflects the businessman＇ s psychological pursuit of wealth. A businessman tends to use a good and unique shop name to attract the attentions of consumers to obtain greater economic benefits ;while a linguist would pay more attention to the lin- guistic features of a shop name itself and its cultural connotation. The object of this thesis is the shop names of 163 high - end restau- rants which collected in Luoyang, Shanxi Province. This article analyzes these shop names from the perspective of linguistics in order to find out the shop - naming features of the restaurants in Xinzhou City.
