萧雄西域事迹考

The Research of Xiao Xiong's Experiences in West Regions

萧雄是著名的清代西域诗人。然而由于研究资料的匮乏,有关其生平尤其是他入幕西域后的事迹至今模糊。通过对相关历史背景及现有材料分析可以证明,萧雄是在同治十二年(1873年)随军出关进入新疆,光绪十一年(1885年)离开新疆返回家乡。在新疆期间,随军游历天山南北,并写下了大量诗篇,描绘了新疆历史风貌。

Xiao xiong was a famous West Regions poet of the Qing Dynasty. Due to the insufficient records of his life, the experiences for his life, especially in West Regions Shogunate is still fuzzy. Based on the analysis of existing materials and relevant historical background, it could be classified that Xiao Xiong came to Xinjiang in 1873 with the army and returned in 1885. During which, he traveled all the regions around north and south of the Tianshan Mountains and wrote numerous poems on Xinjiang＇s historical outlook.
