摘要
异构网络环境中,不同的上层应用对网络的QoS(Quality of Service)有不同的需求。所以在异构网络中如何提供更为合适的网络以满足用户对QoS的要求成为异构网络需要解决的问题。本文考虑不同应用对QoS的要求,提出一种基于效用理论的网络选择机制。该机制将网络选择过程中需要考虑的各QoS指标用不同的效用函数表示,通过统一量化比较选择效用值最高的网络做为接入网。该机制不涉及矩阵运算较现有大多网络选择机制计算量小,在NS模拟环境中进行网络选择仿真,结果表明被选网络的QoS符合上层应用需求。
In heterogeneous network, different applications have different requirements on QoS.So in heterogeneous network, how to select appropriate network for users is a problem need to solve.In this paper, we propose a network selection mechanism based on utility theory to satisfy different applications for QoS.In the paper, the different QoS indicators which should be considered in the process of network selection are expressed by different utility functions, and the indicators can be compared with unified criterion.And then select the network which has maximum value of utility by calculating.This mechanism does not involve matrix operations so it has smaller computing than most existed mechanisms.In the NS-2 simulation environment, the simulation result shows that the QoS of the selected network is accord for the requirements of the application.
