Textual Research on Liu Fu's Epigraph in Tang Dynasty and Relevant Problems

刘复为中唐之季声名斐然的诗人,其人正史无传,文献的阙如令其湮没无闻,然时近出土的《刘复墓志》则可弥补坟籍的不足。此志于复之家世阀阅、仕途宦历、生平学术载录翔实,亦可由此略窥中唐时期的士林交游。

Liu Fu was a famous poet in the middle period of Tang dynasty. Yet there was no biography about him in official history, and lack of documents obscured his presence in history. Recently unearthed Liu Fu＇ s Epigraph could make up for the lack of his tomb inscriptions. This epigraph has recorded in detail the achievements of Liu Fu＇s family, his experiences as officials, and academic excellence of his life. Readers can also glimpse something about social intercourse of intellectual circles in the middle period of Tang dynasty.
