本文将从宏观的视角介绍自发地理信息(VGI)在处理自然灾害时的应用。通过OpenStreetMap在海地地震和台风海燕后的救灾中起到的作用来讨论将空间信息,特别是自发地理数据,引入防灾减灾管理和决策的重要性,以及它们的优势。

This paper aims to discuss the adhibition of Volunteered Geographic Information on the natural disaster e- mergency management from a general perspective. Then, it uses the application of OpenStreetMap in the post-disaster reconstructions of Haiti Earthquake and Typhoon Haiyan as case studies to show the importance of drawing spatial data, especially the volunteered geographic data, into the natural disaster emergency management.
