随着读图时代的到来,图片已经全方位影响到我们的生活。从近代报纸信息源中建设集史料性、学术性和观赏性为一体的综合性图像数据库,不仅为专家学者提供翔实有力的研究证据,更为普通读者带来了跨时代的乐趣。文章以《字林西报——图片库》的建设为例,与大家探讨怎样挖掘近代报纸图形资源的价值并结合当代信息技术建立富含特色的图片数据库。
With the arrival of the era of picture reading, the image has brought an overall influence on our life. The construction of a comprehensive image database not only provides historical materials for academic research, but also brings pleasure for the ordinary readers. Taking the construction of the Image Database of North-China News as an example, the paper discusses on how to mine the values of graphics resources from the modern newspapers and use the new information technologies to build a characteristic image database.
