钻机防雷在地质勘察工作中,是项基本安全技术措施。过去钻机防雷通常使用避雷针,然而,在高山地区避雷针的接地电阻很难达到规程要求,雷击事故时有发生。自上世纪70年代开始,我国已有部分地区采用"钻探机场等电位防雷技术",经过较长时间的反复试验,防雷效果有了明显的改善。有关专家认为这是钻机防雷技术的重大突破,对防止雷击事故,保障职工的安全,具有广泛的推广价值。

In the past, the lightning rod is often used in rig lightning protection, however, the lightning stroke accidents happened occasionally in the high mountain area, because in these area the grounding resistance of lightning rod is difficult to achieve the requirements of regulation.Since the 70＇s of last century, in some regions of China have adopted the ＂ drilling equipment equipotential lightning protection technology＂, after repeated tests for a long periods of time, the lightning protection effect is improved obviously.Relevant experts believe that this is a major breakthrough in lightning protection technology of drilling rig, and it has wide popularization value to prevent the lightning stroke accident, and to ensure the security of staff.
