柳素英想要结合美剧的表达方式，加上中国的戏曲元素，做出几部能让中国年轻人喜欢看的戏。除了这个大梦想之外，柳素英今年还有个小小的梦想：“今年是中国的马年，我希望自己能够在马年跑完一个马拉松，成为真正的千里马！”
Elyse Ribbons, an american playwright who lives and works in Beijing, is known for her good command of Mandarin and drama. She runs a theater company, Cheeky Monkey Theater in Beijing. 'I like monkeys for their active and playful nature. Besides, I was born in 1980: the year of Monkey in the Chinese Zodiac. She has stayed in China for 14 years, but still has troubles in daily life: 'I couldn't buy train ticket online with my passport, and I couldn't go shoping in Taobao.com either, others like Currency exchange quota is limited up to 500 dollars' she hates going to hospital in China 'because it is too demanding, and international hospital is too expensive.'
