试论龟兹出土木雕佛像的笈多风格

Research on the Style of Gupta Art of the Wooden Buddha sculptures in Kucha

龟兹地区出土的部分木雕佛像展现了浓厚的笈多色彩,龟兹木雕佛像具备了笈多马图拉样式、萨尔纳特样式这两大衣纹制作的类型。与龟兹壁画相比,有一件木刻立像的衣纹甚至更加忠实地体现了笈多艺术的风范,通体罕见衣纹的笈多萨尔纳特样式也对龟兹木雕像产生了重要影响,这两种情况在整个新疆地区并不常见。

The wooden Buddha sculptures unearthed in Kucha were influenced by the Gupta Art strongly. The sculptures＇ drapery reflect the two most important styles of the Gupta Buddha statues named Mathura and Sarnath patterns. There was a sculpture of standing Buddha obey the style of Gupta Art very strictly and the murals of Kucha Grottoes have more difference. The Sarnath pattern which very few drapery were carved also can be seen in the wooden sculptures of Kucha. Those two ancient styles of Buddha sculptures were not uncommon in the region of Xinjiang.
