摘要 经济开发区是推动区域经济发展的重要力量。以武汉国家级经济开发区的发展为例,探讨了开发区的管理机制和发展历程中各阶段的特点。研究对比了开发区的区域特色、产业定位、发展目标,并针对政府部门在开发区转型和升级过程中所起的重要引导作用进行了讨论,认为开发区的升级应注重错位发展,培养区域特色。 Economic development zones are a good examples of how the interplay of economic and political decision-makers fosters regional development. Based on the empirical experience from Wuhan three state-level economic development zones, the paper discussed the role of political administrative systems and features of each development stages for the zones. The analysis aims to distinguish the area characteristics, industry clusters and future goals among those threes. It indicates that prosperity of economic development zones is created by successful distinguishing the own features of the zones.
