With the introduction of a series of promotion methods and reward policies of tile government, the green building has greeted the unprecedented opportunity of rapid development in China. The paper reviews the development experience of green buildings in China from the visual angle of a green building practitioner, evaluates the development present situations and characteristics of green buildings in China based on statistical data, and combines with the main problems occurring in the project case analysis to explore the gap between the design, construction and final efficient operation of green builds and its solutions.
