The ＂International Writing Program＂ of University of Iowa in the United States can be used for a case study in the research of the ＂Internationalization＂ of Contemporary Chinese Writing. Through a careful and dynamic description of Chinese visiting writersjparticipation in local literary activities, all sorts of complicated factors in the ＂internationalization＂ process of contemporary Chinese writing are revealed from multiple perspectives and in multiple layers.
