摘要
为了解决形式中心式和意义中心式这两种教学模式固有的问题,Long提出了聚焦形式这一全新的教学模式。文章以近三十年国外相关的理论和研究成果为基础,简要介绍了聚焦形式产生的背景和定义,具体分析其建立的理论基础,重点归纳了常见的聚焦形式的实施方法,并深入讨论广受关注的相关问题,以及在我国实施聚焦形式存在的问题及解决方法。
Long advocated a form focus approach in an attempt to maintain the value of the two approaches of form focus and meaning focus and meanwhile minimize their drawbacks. This paper outlines the background and definition of focus on form, addresses the rationale for the approach, summarizes some of its main methodological options, discusses relevant problematic areas of various options, elaborates the challenges language teachers must face while trying to integrate this approach with their classroom practice and finally suggests the possible steps to be taken in this process.
