苏童的小说《妻妾成群》在泰国被改编为电视连续剧《橙花皇冠》,改编者对原著中的人物形象、故事情节、民族风俗都进行了大量增删,消除了文化上的隔膜,使其适合泰国观众的审美习惯。最终,该剧不仅创造了极高的收视率,而且还拍摄了续集。

Su Tong＇s Wives and Concubines has been adapted for the TV series called Orange Blossom Crown in Thailand. The characters, stories, customs in the novel were greatly modified adapted, in order to comply with the national customs, aesthetic psychology of the people of Thailand. Finally, Orange Blossom Crown achieved a great success.
