北方传统书院的一个缩影:河北邢台古代的书院教育

A Microcosm of the Northern Traditional Academy:Study On Ancient Academies of Classical Learning in Xingtai

自元朝开始,河北邢台开启了书院发展的历程。相比全国而言,邢台书院发展态势相对滞后;而在河北省域内,邢台书院发展居中等偏上水平。在700多年的发展中,一批较有名望的邢台书院相继出现。书院广泛开展的教学活动以及多元化筹资方式,使其在一定时期内发挥了迥异于古代官学和私学的显著作用。发掘、整理和研究古代邢台书院教育文化,对发展邢台教育事业、增进社会文明有重要价值。

The first academy of Xingtai in Hebei province was built in Yuan Dynasty.Compared to other regions in the whole nation,development of academies in Xingtai were at a lower level,but it got a better rank status in Hebei province.A group of well-known academies established during seven hundred years.With the help of diversifying educational activities and multiple fund-raising,Xingtai＇s academies had a more splendid performance than schools which were operated by the government and private schools in some eras.In the late Qing Dynasty,with the influx of Western culture and China＇s transformation,academies in Xingtai area as well as the whole academies in China were unified into modern schools at all levels,officially completing its historical mission.The work of exploration,systemizing and studying the academies in Xingtai helps a lot to speed up the development of education in this area,as well as improve the social civilization.
