摘要
底层民众是杨逵小说叙述的重点,以1942年杨逵复出后发表小说为界,他小说中的底层民众形象出现了嬗变,1942年之前是被苦难残噬,被同情与待拯救的无知、无助者,此后则变为被仰赞的勤劳、勇毅者。1942年之前的底层民众形象是杨逵表达人道情感和进行社会批判的工具,折射出他早期作为左翼知识分子的政治精英意识;1942年以后理想化的底层民众形象则是他表达庶民价值认同的载体,体现了他对劳动及劳动者价值的肯定,寄寓他的劳动美学想象。
The lowest classes had always been the objects and emphasis in Yang Kui's works. Demarcated by his return of publishing novels in 1942,the images of the lowest classes were different from those in his former works. The images of the lowest classes he created before 1942 referred to people who were ravaged by their misery. They were ignorant and helpless,needing for enlightenment and salvation. However,the images of the lowest classes he created after 1942 were industrious and brave people who were appreciated by the author. Those images he created before 1942 are the objects that he expressed humanitarian feelings and social criticism,and could reflect his consciousness of political elitist as a Left Wing intellectual in his early life. The ideal images of the lowest classes he created after 1942 are the vehicle for expressing Yang Kui's value identification with the plebs,which could show Yang Kui's affirmation on the value of labor and laborers,and his imagination on labor aesthetics.
