摘要
秦汉时期的人才成长问题呈现出两点怪象,很令人深思:一是在人才的定义上,单纯以为官从政为标准而忽视其他方面的人才。二是在人才成长问题上忽视了德行操守而不择手段,无所不为。深究其本,则还有两个方面的深层原因,一是统治者所贯彻的任人唯亲的用人之道,二是整个社会所崇尚的唯利是图成为了人们成才的唯一动力。如此,形成上下内外的合力,驱使着人们闯官途,拥官道,追求利益最大化。这是中国官本位思想的渊源。
There were two strange phenomenon in the cultivation of talents during Qin and Han dynasties,which deserve careful study.One is the definition of talents:only government officials were standard talents and skillful personnel in other aspects were ignored.The other appeared in the appointments:virtue ethics was ignored and any means might be taken in the selection.A further study of the nature helped us to find two deeper causes:the rulers appoint people by favorism and the only motive force of talents was profit,which was acknowledged by the whole society at that time.Such joint forces drove people to seek official positions and the biggest profit and this is the origin of China's ideology of official rank standard.
