模因是文化传播的基本单位,是文化进化过程中的至关重要的因素。模仿复制是模因理论的核心观念。以语言模因论为视角,从重新认识诵记在词汇学习中的合法地位,重视词义之间的关联性,关注词汇的文化底蕴,加强词汇习得后运用的指导,善于借助强模因进行词汇教学五个方面探究模因理论对大学英语词汇教学的启示,有助于提升英语词汇教学水平。

Meme is the basic unit for culture diffusion,and plays an important role in the process of culture evolution.Imitation is the core conception of Memetics.This essay,from the perspective of Memetics,aimed at revealing the enlightenment of Meme to English vocabulary teaching from five perspectives in hope of promoting English vocabulary teaching:realizing the importance of reciting;valuing the correlation between meanings of words;paying attention to cultural background of words;and strengthening the guidance for the application of words.
