The replacement of the definite designed motor for frequency-control speed-regulation application by general-purpose motor in the market was criticized and its harmfulness was analyzed too. Key points in the electromagnetic design of the 3-phase frequency-control speed-regulation motor were stated as well as the necessary process measures in the production.
