Fusion of embroidery craftsmanship and artistic characteristics of Xiang embroidery with face and back made in different patterns and colors

双面全异绣是湘绣工艺技术与艺术特质达到巅峰的标志,但有关其工艺技术与艺术特质结合的研究较少。为此,以双面全异绣的诸多现存作品为例,从绣稿工艺设计、内容题材表现、画面构图的时空转换、刺绣针法对艺术特质的表现能力等方面进行分析,探讨双面全异绣高超工艺技术与优良艺术品质完美结合的方式。在此基础上指出保持湘绣的独特艺术特质和刺绣工艺技术是湘绣在现代社会传承和发展的必然选择。

Xiang embroidery with face and back made in different patterns and colors is a token of the peak of the Xiang embroidery＇s development, but the researches on the blending of its craftsmanship and artistic characteristics are few and far between. This paper analyzed the Xiang embroidery with face and back made in different patterns and colors from multi-aspects such as themes selection, painting composition, color, embroidery craft, and mood creation, and researched the combination modes of the superb skills and the fabulous art of the embroidery. And finally, it was pointed out that in order to inherit and develop Xiang embroidery in modern society, it is necessary to keep up Xiang embroidery＇s unique artistic characteristics and embroidery craftsmanshin.
