国际资源依赖与经济增长方式转变——基于跨国面板数据的经验分析

International Resources Dependence and Transformation of the Economic Growth Pattern: A Study based on the International Experience of Panel Data

文章基于国家竞争优势理论和比较优势理论探讨了国际资源依赖驱动经济增长方式转变的作用机理,在此基础上,基于OECD和BRICS中28个国家的跨国面板数据,采用差分GMM估计方法实证检验了国际资源依赖对技术进步和人力资本积累的影响,研究结论进一步证实了"国际资源依赖有助于实现经济增长方式转变"的命题。本研究的实际意义在于,自然资源是实现地区经济增长的重要因素,但自然资源的多寡并不是决定一国经济发展成败的唯一要素,技术进步、人力资本等高级生产要素才是决定国家竞争优势的关键要素。对于资源丰裕经济体而言,避免对资源型产业的过度依赖而陷入"资源诅咒"陷阱和及早谋划经济的转型与升级是其亟需解决的关键问题;对于资源匮乏经济体而言,积极开展与资源供给国之间的合作是实现其资源安全的重要方面。

This paper discusses the influence mechanism of international resources dependence on the transformation of economic growth pattern based on national competitive advantage theory and comparative advantage theory. It analyzes the impact of international resources dependence on the transformation of the economic growth pattern based on the OECD and BRICS twenty-eight countries transnational panel data using difference-GMM estimation method,the regression results further indicates that international resources dependence will accumulate the transformation of the economic growth pattern. The practical significance of this study is that natural resources is the important factor to accumulate regional economic growth,but the amount of natural resources is not the only factor to decide the success or failure of a country's economic development,the advanced production factors such as technology progress and human capital are the key elements to decide the country's competitive advantage. The key problem that needed to resolve for resource abundant economies is avoiding ' resource curse' trap because of excessive reliance on resources industry and contriving the transformation and upgrade of the economy as soon as possible; Cooperating with the resource supply countries actively is the important aspect of the realization of resource security for resource-poor economies.
