泽泻具有利水消肿、渗湿、泄热的功效。现代药理学研究证实,泽泻的多种有效成分如泽泻醇A、B及泽泻倍半萜类等具有降血压、降血脂、抗动脉粥样硬化、抗心肌缺血等药理作用。临床用于治疗高血压、动脉粥样硬化、高脂血症、冠心病、心肌缺血等多种心血管疾病,其治疗有效机制可能与降低外周阻力,改善微循环,抑制血小板聚集及抗动脉硬化等有关。

Alisma has the function of inducing diuresis to alleviate edema, excreting dampness and discharging heat. Modem pharmacological studies proved that Alisma contains variety of active ingredients such as Alisol A, B and Alisma sesquiter- pene which have the effect of lowering blood pressure, reducing blood fat, anti-atherosclerosis, improving myocardial ischemia and other effects. It＇s effective in treating a variety of cardiovascular diseases such as hypertension, atherosclerosis, hyper- lipemia, coronary disease and ischemia myocardial. Its main effective mechanism maybe related with reducing peripheral re- sistance, improving microcirculation, inhibiting platelet aggregation and anti-atherosclerosis.
