On the Narrative and Artistic Style of The Butterfly Murders from the Audience Acceptance

文章通过对《蝶变》进行叙事与造型的具体分析,指出《蝶变》在叙事上提出了叙事可靠性的问题,但却制造了观众与电影故事的间离感;另外,影片把悬疑片与武侠片相结合,也降低了故事张力,造成了观众的认同困难。相反,《蝶变》在造型处理上却有着很多符合电影本性的创新,并得到了观众的普遍接受。

With concrete analyses of the narrative and artistic style, this paper points out the narrative reliability raised by The Butterfly Murders produced the alienation between the audience and the story. Besides , the combination of thrill- er and swordsmen film reduced the narrative tension and increased the audience＇s cognitive difficulty. But The Butterfly Murders made many innovations complying with the nature of the film which gain audience＇s general acceptance.
