摘要
"知天命"是成就儒家君子人格所必备的前提条件,按照"天人相分"与"天人合一"的理论可以得知,对"天命"的认知离不开对"性与天道"的把握。然而,孔子基于其独特的"言语观",感受到对"性与天道"的认知是个体在"习"中自然体认的结果,从而采取了"以无言代言"的方式,因此出现了子贡所谓"夫子之言性与天道不可得闻"的感叹。
＂Knowing destiny＂ is a precondition to cultivate Confucian gentleman＇s personality, which is based on the understanding of ＂man＇s nature and the way of Heaven＂ according to the theories of ＂separation of Heaven and man＂ as well as ＂unity of Heave and man＂. However, Confucius found that the understanding of ＂man＇s nature and the way of Heaven＂ can only be achieved in the process of＂practice＂ naturally and put forward a unique ＂concept of discourse＂ to ＂replace words with wordlessness＂, this is why his student Zi Gong said that ＂Master＇s discourse about man＇s nature and the way of heaven can not be heard＂.
