The dwelopmont of Liupanshui city economy is at an important historical stage of accelerating in-dustrialization and urbanization, and high-speed economic growth will drive the rapid increase of energy con-sumption. By analyzing the present situation and problems of the development of economy and the energy in liupanshui city, the economic development,energy demand in liupanshui and the development of the main problems are discussed, and the countermeasures for the sustainable development of liupanshui economy and energy are suggested.
