Types of Concessive Conditional Markers in Chinese Dialects

在穷尽性地收集相关语料的基础上对汉语方言让步条件标记做了一个较为全面的考察。这些标记总数将近30个,从语义上看可分为六类,主要由强调副词、放任义动词、假设连词、递增义副词演变而来。此外,大多数标记从古汉语继承而来,这些标记的语义来源也反映出跨语言的一些共性倾向。

Concessive conditional markers in Chinese dialects are comprehensively investigated on the basis of an exhaustive collection of relevant corpus. The total number of the markers comes to nearly 30. These markers can be divided into six categories from the semantic point of view, and mainly originate from the emphatic adverbs, verbs containing the meaning of ＂laissez-faire＂, hypothetical conjunctions and adverbs containing the meaning of ＂incremental＂. In addition, most of these markers were inherited from the ancient Chinese and their semantic source also reflects some common tendencies across languages.
