Abstract. The Lei Feng spirit, as a vivid manifestation of the Chinese traditional virtues and PLAts nature and purpose, has an important directive significance in cultivating the core values of contempo- rary revolutionary soldiers. This paper explores the inherent relationship between the Lei Feng spirit and the core values of contemporary revolutionary soldiers to discuss the active effects and the realistic way of the Lei Feng spirit in cultivating the core values of contemporary revolutionary soldiers.
