摘要 A Passage to Indiais one of the master works of the famous British novelist Edward Forster of the 20 th century and it is believed to be one of the classic works in the history of the world literature.Due to some political reasons,it has been criticized and the focus of readers for years.However,the relationship between human beings and nature and the relationship between male and female analyzed in the book have always been ignored.This paper attempts to interpret A Passage to India from the perspective of eco-feminism,analyzing the affinity between female and nature,the double oppression of the world view of the patriarchy upon female and nature as well as resistance to the patriarchy of female and nature,showing the wish of the author to overthrow the world view of the patriarchy,liberate female and nature and set up a harmonious home for male,female and nature.
