Bench blasting is a blasting technique mainly applied in big cross section excavation road-ways ,and can effectively solve the problem of worse roadway formation and increase of gas emission caused by strong shock wave when a large amount of explosion blast at the same time .It is proved by practice that bench blasting can successively solve the problem of over and under excavation ,improve blas-ting effect and roadway formation quality ,and decrease the damage of surrounding rock and gas .
