Educational assessment is an important part of college English teaching and learning .An accurate ,objective and scientific system of assessment is essential to realizing the teaching goals of college English .To ensure the fairness in college English tests ,a test database of college English needs to be built ,thus enhancing the modernization of college education and deepening the reform of college English .
