Analysis on Repairing Ancient Maps of the Historical Atlas of Chongqing Volume One Ancient Maps

主要通过对古地图在保存质量、历史属性和数字化过程三方面的特性进行阐述,论述了修复古地图的必要性,提出了"修旧如旧"的基本修复原则,并简要介绍了《重庆历史地图集·第一卷古地图》中对古地图的修复流程,描述了变形矫正、颜色调整、脏面去除、折痕消除和图面补缺等五个具体的操作方法,总结了在古地图修复过程中需要考虑的问题。

This article discusses the necessity of repairing ancient maps by expounding on the characteristics of ancient maps in the quality of preservation, the historical attribute and the digitization process. And it puts forward a repairing principle which is called ＂ repair the old as old＂ , briefly introduces the flow path of repairing maps and five operations using image software under the principle and summarizes some issues needed to be considered.
