摘要 美国独立文学第一人库柏的经典作品《最后的莫西干人》在语言描写,人物塑造,景物描绘等方面都有迥异于欧洲文学的独特面貌,把美国西部印第安土著居民的人情以及自然风光描绘得淋漓尽致。本文赏析了《最后的莫西干人》在语言、人物、景物描写方面的特色,最后对作者库柏形成这种特色的创作心理进行了简要的分析。 "The Last of the Mohicans," is Cooper's classic work . Cooper is the first person of the revolutionary literature. No matter in the language deserition, its characters and its scenery portray, ere, they are so different from the unique appearance of European literature. He porprays the aboriginal customs and natural scenery of Indians in American west incisively and vividly. This passage describes the characteristics of "The Last of the Mohicans," in its language, characters, and scenery, and analyzes briefly in Cooper' s creation psychology in forming these characteristics.
