数词是典型的信息不足词。在句法条件下,数词通常要与作为扩展词的名词连用才能表达客观世界的事物或现象,而数词和名词的搭配规则会受句法、语义、词汇的制约;同时,在许多情况下数词可以独立表达充足的信息,这是语言内外多重因素相互作用的结果。

Numerals are typical words with insufficient information. In the syntactic conditions, numerals usually express the objective world with nouns as word expansion. But numeral - noun collocation can be affected by the constraints of syntax, semantics and vocabulary factors. And in many cases, the numeral can independently express sufficient information, which is the result of interaction by both inside and outside language factors.
