The paper studied subjects＇ autonomous learning competence and the effect of college English teaching model practice with de- scriptive statistics and correlation analysis of empirical study. The findings show that under guidance of teachers＇ supervision, this college English autonomous learning teaching model practice is helpful for students of Agriculture and Forestry University to improve their English aca- demic achievement and autonomous learning competence.
