摘要
逐步成核机制(PNM)是结晶学领域的基本概念,K.Sangwal在2011年将其引入科学计量学领域,用于描述科研领域中作者、期刊、论文和引文的增长规律。文章介绍了逐步成核机制基本公式与增长曲线的研究进展,概括了其在科学计量学领域3个方面的应用:衡量学科领域的增长速度,衡量学科领域的饱和度以及衡量作者的科研产出和学术影响力。最后探讨了逐步成核机制应用于科学计量学领域的局限性和未来可能的研究方向。
Progressive Nucleation Mechanism (PNM) is a basic concept in the field of crystallography, which was introduced to the field of scientometrics by K. Sangwa in 2011 to describe the growth law of authors, journals, papers and citations in the field of scientific research. This paper introduces the research progress of basic formula and growth curve of progressive nucleation mecha- nism and summarizes 3 aspects of its application in the field of scientometries: namely, the measure of growth rate in discipline are- a, the measure of saturation in discipline area, as well as the measure of scientific research product and academic influence of author. Finally, the paper discusses the limitation and possible research direction in the future of progressive nucleation mechanism in the field of scientometrics.
