This paper lists the advantages and necessity of inverter application focuses on application of frequency converter to power quality prob-lems and their solutions. From two aspects of electromagnetic design and structural analysis of the difference from the ordinary motor and frequen-cy conversion motor,this paper expounds the selection in the design of variable frequency speed regulation system of the necessity of variable fre-quency motor,and choice way,for reference.
