With the rapid development of urban construction, cable broken accidents occur frequently.The external force damage threatens the safety of power cable,and endangers the safety of the power grid and the people＇s property seriously.In this paper, the reasons for the damage of power cable are analyzed, the power cable management system of state grid Rizhao power supply company is introduced,the measures of preventing the damage of the external force are proposed.The measures effectively prevent and reduce cable broken accidents of external force damage.
