摘要
考察中外具有悠久历史传统的国度,在近代化或现代化过程中,都有过传统丢失、国学重振的过程。中国近代的国学运动也是如此。本文回顾了自19世纪末期以来中国"国学"运动的历史,检讨种种有关"国学"的定义和范畴,认为迄今为止,虽然说法多样,见解殊别,但都缺乏完整的概括和精确的表述。笔者认为,今天谈"国学"应当包括知识学术体系、道德伦理体系、信仰价值体系等三大领域,只有从传统文化的固有词汇中去寻找固定的概念组合,才能有效而又亲切地概括和把握"国学"的基本内涵,也才能构建起传统"国学"的系统体系。
Investigations reveal that there were losses and revivals in the Studies of Ancient Civilizations across the world, which was true of the Chinese studies of its ancient civilization. Looking hack into the concerned issue since the 19th century, this paper examines and discusses the definition and domain of the Studies Chines of Ancient Civilization, concluding that varied as the definitions and views are, a complete system of the Studies Chines of Ancient Civilization must cover three systems : the knowledge system, the moral system and the value system. Only so can the studies be effective and intimate.
