The paper illustrates the principle of the gardening ecology in the design of urban garden landscape planning design, introduces some problems in the planning and construction of the urban garden landscapes in China, emphasizes the differences among garden landscape according to identity problems of garden landscapes, insufficient nationality features, and unreasonable plant allocation, goes after the landscape attractive- ness, and the variety of plant allocation design in plant landscapes.
