在符号化和地图符号定义的基础上对地图符号的本质进行了探讨,从地图结构的角度总结了地图符号系统多方面的表达任务,运用文献研究法、逻辑分析法、例证法等方法,对地图注记、约定关系、空间位置、视觉变量等问题进行重点讨论,并从地图结构的角度,得出了关于地图符号系统表达机制的一些结论。

This paper discussed the essence of map symbol based on the definition of map symbolization and map symbol, summarized the various tasks of map symbol expression from the view of map structure, discussed the problems of map annotation, contract relationship, spatial location and visual variable by using literature, logical analysis and exemplification, and got some conclusions about the expression of map symbol system from the view of map structure.
