原9个镇构成的吴江市已改为苏州市最大辖区之一。建设"数字吴江",使之成为由多种高新技术支持的计算机网络信息系统,促使不同部门、不同层次之间的信息共享、交流和综合,减少资源的浪费和功能重叠,以便从宏观全局的角度制定城市规划和管理的整体战略,实现吴江区动态监测、管理、公众信息发布、自动辅助决策、宏观调控与城市可持续发展同步进行。"数字吴江"由区政府投资,建立地理信息共享交换体系,使各委办局的数据应用更方便、快捷,维护更为简单、高效,从而产生良好的应用效果。"数字吴江"建设工程完成后,将实现社会效益和经济效益双赢。
Wujiang City, consisting of the original nine towns, has been changed to one of the largest districts in Suzhou City. Building "Digital Wujiang" ,leading it to become as a kind of computer network information system supported by a variety of high-techs, which will promote information sharing, communication and integration among different departments and among different levels, and reduce the waste of resources and overlap in functionality, so we can make an overall strategic decision of city planning and management from a macroscopical point of view, to achieve synchronization the sustainable development of city with dynamic monitoring, management, public information dissemination, automatic auxiliary decision, and macro-control. With "Digital Wujiang" invested by the government of district,using establishment of the exchange system of geographic information sharing, we really make the data application of the relevant committees, offices, and bureaus more convenient and faster, easier and more effective in maintenance, which will produce a very good resuhs. After having completed the "Digital Wujiang" project ,we will achieve a win-win for social and economic benefits.
